PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We were approached by Hurford Salvi Carr whom manage a large housing development located on the Isle Of Dogs (overlooking The Thames) for advice and innovative ideas in upgrading their current perimeter lighting that surrounded the whole development. It was obvious from the initial site visit that that in-situ lighting had aged drastically, and along with this, a number of fittings had failed, or had been vandalised.  Due to this lighting being on a public footpath, it was essential to provide a suitable, high quality, and sustainable product. We therefore partnered with DesignPlan Lighting and sourced a high quality, efficient and robust LED brick light that could replace the existing with minimal to no damage to the building fabric. We installed 45 replacement fittings that now very effectively illuminate the development perimeter and public walkway. 

The existing fitting is shown in Image 1 below, and the new replacement fitting shown in Image 2.
