PROJECT DESCRIPTION

After a competitive tender process, we were delighted to be awarded the contract of replacing the existing distribution boards and switch-gear within the common areas and students halls of residence at Wolfson College. The project required a complete upgrade of several large distribution panels that had reached their maximum potential and no longer met current electrical standards. Ultimately, the safety of the students was the paramount objective. 

These works were essential in preparation for the future renovation works of all student accommodation that is due to be undertaken in the near future.  

It was specified by the client that the latest Schneider RCBO distribution boards should be used and from this knowledge we therefore worked hard in designing the new layouts for which the installation would be adhered to. We had to take into consideration, and utilise to the best of our ability, the limited space that was available within the Mains Rooms for this installation. The works were especially challenging due to the student accommodation rooms and common areas being mostly occupied. We therefore focused on our meticulous management, planning and delivery of this installation, ensuring students were left with minimal downtime and limited disruption.
